The Vibe: Flow at the Millennium Hilton Bangkok is one of the best Sunday brunches you will find, hands down. They offer an unparalleled “full day brunch” that opens up the entire hotel to you as a diner beginning at 11:00 AM and ending well after 4:00 PM. The day begins with complimentary cocktails and canapés at Three Sixty from 11:00 AM-12 noon on the 32nd floor where you enjoy awe inspiring views of the Bangkok skyline. At 12 noon, the buffet kicks off downstairs at Flow where you enjoy a bevy of international gourmet delicacies along with signature dishes from their award winning steakhouse Prime, their Thai restaurant (Maya) and their Chinese restaurant (Yuen). At 3:00 PM you are invited to The Lantern coffee shop for all you can eat desserts. At 4:00 PM head upstairs to chill out and relax at The Beach. This is their unique pool and deck, which is a surreal experience where a tropical sandy beach and a cool dip in the pool-meets the Chao Phraya River as it flows through the city. This venue is appropriate for families, groups, and anyone that appreciates the finer things in life.

What To Eat & Drink: We have to mention how fabulous the free flow wine is; as they offer top shelf vintages that are rotated on a regular basis. On our visit we enjoyed copious amounts of both the red Michael Lynch Reserve, 2009 from France and the white Long Flat Chardonnay, 2010 from Australia. With over 220 items on the buffet you want to make sure you take your time. The quality of the cuisine is fabulous and absolutely everything we tasted was stunning. Favorites include the Beef Tartar, which is the same version you get from Prime. It's one of the best versions you will find anywhere, let alone on a buffet. Another stand out is the succulent Prime Rib Roast which was pink and juicy and tender beyond belief; as well as the Slow Roasted Lamb Loin that is magical when served with the Red Wine Sauce. The Fried Snapper w/ Sweet Chili Sauce is perfection, while other highlights include the made to order Seared Foie Gras, the tantalizingly Spicy Foie Gras Spaghetti w/ Kaffir Lime & Chili, Goose Leg Confit w/Lemmon & Herb, Salt Crusted Fish, Butter Chicken, Shrimp & Chicken Tandoori and voluptuous Raw Oysters imported from Australia. Be sure to save room for specialties like Veal Orloff’, Truffle Fondue, Spicy Papaya Salad w/ Soft Shell Crab, River Prawn Soufflé, Jumbo Shrimp Dim Sum, Chinese BBQ Pork, the caviar bar, the sushi bar, Alaskan King crab, mussels, and a dizzying array of salads. In addition, you are granted free access to their private Cheese Room. It is a stunning marvel, and serves as aproper shrine to “cheese, glorious cheese” in all its incarnations. Don’t miss desserts like the house made chocolates, cakes and signature selections such as Teppanyaki ice cream, chocolate whisky truffle and fresh strawberries, meringue and Chantilly.
