Vibe: Designed by New York architect Tony Chi; Madison at The Four Seasons is a contemporary space with a warm color palate and upscale modern design elements throughout. The intoxicating aroma of charcoal grilled meats entices you from the moment you arrive, and tempts you with the promise of smoky and savory delights. Madison is a popular spot that evokes a sense of understated elegance and is an idyllic setting for an unforgettable business dinner, or an intimate dinner for two.
What to Eat & Drink: A seductive way to start your meal is with the delicately sweet Alaskan King Crab w/ Yuzu Jelly and a refreshing glass of white wine such as the Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio Friuli, 2011 from Italy. First and foremost Madison is a steakhouse, and it centers on the masterpieces created on the grill. Chef Anchalee Ponrungsit offers an exceptional selection of beef including, Australian Black Angus, USDA Prime and several Wagyu options with a marble scale from 4 to 11 points. We recommend the most popular steak, which is the 14oz 300 day grain fed Wagyu Rib Eye. The meat is expertly prepared with salt, pepper, rosemary and olive oil and it is a stunning accomplishment that demands recognition for its simplistic perfection. It's insanely tender and succulent and the first bite could almost be defined as a religious experience. The Rack of lamb w/ Vegetable Timbale is another marvel, as it is perfectly seasoned and elevated to the next level when paired with the hearty red wine like the Mc Guigan Private Bin Merlot, 2011 from Australia. If your want something lighter from the grill try the enormous King Prawns w/Baby Broccoli & Romesco Sauce. The ala carte side dishes are equally spectacular and the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, king sized Onion Rings, and Creamed Spinach will all leave you a bit weak in the knees. Another signature item is the Fresh Baked Dark Beer Brioche Bread, served with homemade Sundried Tomato Butter. For dessert you don't want to miss the Baked Alaska, which is a dramatic serving of ice cream and cake that is covered in a dome of meringue and then set ablaze at the table with dark rum.
